Care instructions

Soap-treated surfaces:

The furniture has been soap-treated from the factory. If you like to give it an after-treatment you can do it in the following way:

First year you can give it a light soap-treatment. Use white soap-flakes or bio-soap.

After the first year you can give it a bit stronger soap-treatment.

Put on the soap-dissolution with a white cloth (woolen) slightly wrung.

NOTICE: not too much water on the furniture.

Remember always follow the grain of the wood and always both sides.

Wipe off with a clean cloth ( white)

The furniture can, when it is entirely dry, be polished with sandpaper no: 180/240 following the grain of the wood.

This treatment can be repeated, 1 to 2 times with a few weeks interval, after that only when needed.

Oil-treated surfaces:

The furniture has been oil-treated from the factory.

The furniture can be retreated with teak-oil or maintenance oil.
If there are any scratches on the surface, polish with sandpaper and treat with oil again. There will be a light spot where it has been polished but it will equalize by time. Wipe off with a clean woolen cloth.
Notice: The cloth used for oil treatment can ignite spontaneously and must be destroyed or stored safely.
